Meet Lieke Klaver, a Dutch track and field athlete born on August 20, 1998. She’s a total speed demon, specializing in the 200 and 400 meters. In the 4×400 meters relay, she’s the real deal, being the 2023 World Champion and the 2024 World Indoor Champion with the Dutch women’s team. She even snagged a gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the mixed 4×400 meters relay.

Klaver repped the Netherlands at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and has a bunch of other sick medals under her belt. She won silver in the 400 meters short track at the 2024 World Indoor Championships and the 2023 European Indoor Championships, and she even grabbed a bronze in the 400 meters at the 2024 European Championships. Plus, she’s got four national titles, both outdoor and indoor.
She’s part of the Dutch 4×400 meters relay teams and has racked up eleven major medals, including silver for the mixed relays at the 2022 World Championships and the 2024 World Athletics Relays, and gold for the women’s relays at the 2023 World Championships and the 2024 World Indoor Championships.
