Negzzia fled Iran for Turkey in 2017, after a photographer she once worked with gave police partially nude photos of her, fearing ‘The Revolutionary Guards’ revenge for ‘immodest’ photographs. After a year, she decided to fly to Paris, hoping to find a job in the fashion industry. Having no connections and no revenues, she ended sleeping in the streets.
Since her story went viral, Negzzia finally managed to get temporary housing at a center for asylum seekers and the French government is reviewing her case favorably.
